AI Transparency Policy

Sada Journal uses AI-assisted editorial tools to support research, drafting, and content development. Published content is subject to editorial review and factual verification. Editorial responsibility remains with the publication.

How we use these tools

AI-assisted tools may support our editorial desk with researching background material, summarising source documents, translating between Arabic, French and English, drafting articles, and editing headlines and copy. They are production tools that work under editorial control; they do not decide what we publish.

What we do not use them for

We do not present AI-generated images as news photography. The photographs published on Sada Journal are real images from credited sources. We do not publish invented quotations, sources or events, and AI-generated material is never published without editorial review and factual verification.

Verification and updates

Facts reported on Sada Journal – names, dates, figures, quotations and official statements – are checked against credible sources before publication. When developing stories change, we update our reporting and mark significant updates with a visible timestamp. Our Corrections Policy explains how we handle errors.

Accountability

Sada Journal takes full editorial responsibility for its published content. Questions about our use of AI-assisted tools can be sent to the editorial desk through our Contact page.
